Lifestyleblinds loves Roman blinds

We are really excited about the new year here at Lifestyleblinds!  We are delighted to be adding brand new fabrics into our roller  and vertical collections.  What do you think of this fab fabric from Irwins??

We are also proud to launch our brand new Roman blind collection with fabrics from the fabulous fabric house Ashley Wilde!  Roman blinds have been a gap in our range for a while so they are a welcome addition to our much loved collection.

We are introducing over 200 fabulous plain and patterned fabrics which will be made into stunning roman blinds with delux, chain operated headrails. Every colour under the sun will be in the collection from black to lime green so we are sure there is something for everyone.  Later on in the year this collection of fabrics will also be available as curtains, cushion covers and headboards.

Let me know which other fabrics designers you would love to see on our site!!

Lets get ready for winter!

I find at this time of year I like to reorganise the living spaces in my house, get cosy and nest!

I clear out all the summery trinkets that I cherish in the warmer months and replace these with more wintry items that I find on my walks with the dog.  These items include pine cones, twigs and pussy willows!  I like to exchange my rocks and shells that I decorate my fireplace with for these rustic pieces.  You also can’t beat the effect of glistening p-lights for a really cosy and festive feel!

I love this idea by nosycrow.com which is a winter twig Christmas tree with lights and handmade decorations – I can’t wait to try this out with my kids

Another way I get ready for winter is I de-clutter my windowsills (getting them ready for the imminent Christmas cards) and freshen up my potted plants throughout the house with lovely ferns and evergreen mini trees.

I also love to jazz up my homeware.  Take a look at this neat idea to warm up a boring roller blind! It is amazing what you can achieve with a bit of super-glue and a trip down the local haberdashers!
